Originally in the 1970s, Can Xim was the village bar. Later we extended to become a restaurant serving traditional mallorquien food, and then later again, we converted to become a modern luxury hotel. The 8 rooms are traditionally furnished. However, every room has air conditioning , central heating and a fast internet connection bringing the rooms to a standard expected of a modern exclusive hotel. Our clients tend to be couples looking for a mediterranean holiday away from the rush of the sea, but within striking distance of the beach by hire car. In particular, our setting at the base of the mountains offers an easy point of access for walking and touring holidays. The village of Alaro is one of the most sought after locations in the island by those in the know with a pedestrianised centre, traditional fiestas and easy access to Palma ( 20 mins ) and the airport ( 25 mins ).
